The author also portrays the biography of Lord Krishna in his own words, in parallel to the main story-line. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. We are still not taken seriously as genre fiction writers—producers of mysteries, thrillers, crime novels, adventures, romances etc.
One remains so unaffected by any of them that it is difficult to even remember their names. Well, nonetheless, the novel is author’s treat to us, and I, as a matter of fact, truly loved it, savored it, devoured it.
Having read his previous books The Rozabal Line and Chanikya’s Chant, I did expect a lot from this book hoping to find some conspiracy theories and untold tales about Lord Krishna. It’s a verbatim copy; so much so that the author have not even bothered to change a eky word or picture from those Wikipedia articles. Through the whole book, they gather the seals, escape from death, travel across the country, only to be told, and in turn tell us, that paraphrasing “we should aim to be better people in life and only then we can be happy”.

Some of the common terms in India have been replaced by the common American terms for the same thing. Since when did Indians stop using the metric system??
The storyline and sanbhi is extremely imaginative, though I could not help seeing similarities between this work and Dan Brown’s the da Vinci Code.
This is definitely a 3 out of 5: I won’t waste space pointing out the innumerable similarities between the Krishna Key and the Da Vinci Code, as it’s been done to death by the other reviewers on Goodreads. However, I have read Chanakya’s Chant. The Krishna Key is a compilation of many historical incidents, scientific researches with some fiction out of krlshna author’s imagination. But I like how he tri I was skeptical as to whether he is trying really hard to become Dan Brown of India.

Even the so-called “mob boss” knows the ins and outs of Krishna’s escapades, as well as detailed info on nuclear transmutations!!!!!
This is one such book that is of the latter kind.
However, having said that, I should add somehow the links between the characters and why they were doing what they were was a bit lacking. People call him the Dan Brown of India but please i beg to differ i seriously don’t think so. So I got this book from Delhi Railway station during my recent Delhi-Mumbai journey, mainly because I shuddered at the thought of a dreadful 24 hour journey in an equally horrible train, The Golden Temple Express.

The story is fast-paced and interesting, giving a fresh new look at our puranas. I enjoyed the history lessons though, and I did read some of the reference material that is cited at the end of the book. What about the 4 seals as well?! The history of Mahabharata and Krishna is seen from four different perspectives.
The success of certain genres in kgishna Indian commercial fiction space—for example mythological fiction, campus stories, teenage romances etc. The amount of information and theories thrown at the reader is impressive. Juvenile Priya is his associate. But my common sense tells me Ravi Saini should have found this odd at ashwjn time.
